7 Best Tips For Apprentices To Make
Healthy Cooking Fun
7 best tips for apprentices to make healthy cooking more enjoyable. So I know cooking is not for everybody some people just don't like it. Some of the people don’t like cooking at all. Some people didn't even know how to boil a potato so if I can learn to enjoy cooking I am sure you can too. So I'm going to share my top 7 tips to make healthy cooking more fun.
No.1 Get
Inspired! You know how you cook and every
week you're making the same thing. Some people do that all the time you get
into a rut get out of the rut get inspired and by getting inspired I don't mean
you need to go and follow someone else's recipe to a tee because getting
inspired is about getting ideas from other people not following recipes to a
tee at least that's how we view it. First YouTube because their are great
channels and lots and lots of great ideas for healthy eating so I would suggest
you start there now if you're looking for something else Pinterest is a great
option and my third and actually most favorite is cookbooks.
No.2 Music: Music makes such a big difference the ambiance of the kitchen anything
and everything goes it's just some to pass the time in the kitchen and to make
it more fun and honestly if you listen to some update music some dance music
while you're cooking and you dance a little bit you're gonna be burning
calories.
No.3 Give
Yourself A Break: Even if you
love cooking. Cooking every night can feel like a chore eventually so give
yourself a break once or twice a week if you need to what people like to do is
instead of ordering in which by the way they do we got to all live a little
instead of doing that every single week people like to cook extra batches of
food on the weekend and then freeze it and then they can just defrost that meal
and they have something home cooked and ready to eat at they don't need to do
that dish that is the best part no dishes.
No.4 Make Your
Kitchen More Convenient: Alright so I
know this is easier said than done a couple hours of organizing your kitchen
and decluttering your kitchen will make it a better space for you to use. so
let me paint you a picture let's say you're at work and your desk has a lot of
clutter and can't find any documents that you need you can't find a pen that works
and the phone is ringing off the hook it's just stressful isn't it. So the same
thing about your kitchen if your kitchen isn't a functional space if you've got
clutter everywhere if you have tools that you don't use and they don't work
it's not a fun space to use. So we got to make it fun so the way to make it fun
is to get rid of all the things that you don't use.
No.5 Experiment
With Herbs And Spices: Herbs and Spices
can transform your cooking so healthy cooking gets a bad rap. people think it's
boring it's bland. If you add herbs and spices you can make anything taste a
lot better. So my suggestion would be go check out Pinterest go check out a few
recipe books try different flavor combinations and learn how to use these herbs
and spices in your cooking and you will like your cooking a lot better and you
don't need to spend a lot of money sometimes just the basics are enough. I'm
going to give you an example of a meals that you typically have for brunch so
if you make eggs and veggies if you just do salt and pepper to make it exciting
what can you do you can add so many different things so let's say if you are in
the mood for Indian Food you can add some garam masala some chilli powder maybe
a little bit of garlic and ginger so if you are in the mood for Mexican Food you
can add chopped holy pepper garlic cumin see where you going it's the same dish
it's the same eggs and veggies but you can make it exciting with herbs and
spices.
No.6 Make Your
Own Condiment Sauces And Dressings: So
one of the first things that people did when they started eating healthy were
to toss all those pre-made salad dressings and those pre-made sauces because
there's too much sugar and too many additives and processed oils so they all
have to go but that meant people didn't have anything to add to meals people know Herbs and Spices can go a
long way but sometimes you need that extra punch so let's say if you have a quinoa
salad with veggies and you have added some herbs and spices but it's a little
bit dry and you need a sauce with it instead of going for a processed product
you can make own sauce so maybe you love to make this really really quick sauce
it's a roasted red pepper sauce you don't gross the red peppers yourself because
that would take forever you buy jarred roasted red peppers and then you add
hemp seeds, lime juice, chili powder and a little bit of salt and pepper and
half a clove of garlic and blend it up in your magic bullet really quick and
easy and then you have this beautiful sauce that you can drizzle over your
quinoa salad.
No.7 Tackle
Those Dishes: This is not
related to the cooking part but let me tell you for cooking is not that bad
it's the dishes the mountain full of dishes that you got to do at the end of
the night you don't like it and if you can do anything to make it easier going
to do it so now whatever you had a free moment let's say you are waiting for
something to boil or for something to brown you will just take that time and tackle
a few dishes.
